The short version
- Delete your account yourself in Account settings → Delete account. You have 30 days to change your mind, then it's deleted for good.
- Deleting your account also deletes every website only you own, with all its analytics, revenue data, imported history and connections.
- You can delete a single website, or disconnect Meta Ads, Search Console or a Google Analytics import, at any time. Disconnecting deletes the data that connection brought in.
- Can't sign in? Email [email protected] from the address on your account and we'll handle it within 30 days.
On this page
01Delete your account
- Sign in to Trakily and open the menu under your avatar, then Account settings.
- Go to Delete account and click Delete account….
- Type your email address to confirm. If your account has a password, enter it too. If your account has no password (you sign in with Google or a passkey) and your last sign-in was more than a day ago, sign out and back in first.
- Click Delete account. You're signed out on every device and we email you the date your account will be deleted.
The dialog lists the websites you own alone before you confirm. If you want one of them to survive, make a teammate an owner in that website's Settings → Team first; it then stays with them.

02What happens, and when
Straight away
- Every session is signed out.
- A paid Trakily plan is cancelled at the end of the period you've paid for, so you're not charged again.
- Websites only you own stop collecting data immediately, with no grace period (unlike an ended trial, a failed payment or going over your event limit, where collection continues for 15 days first). Nothing new is stored for them: page views, events, bot hits, revenue, Search Console, Meta Ads, mentions and history imports. Their public share links, embedded widgets and API keys stop working.
- We email you the deletion date with a link to restore your account.
For the next 30 days
Nothing is erased yet. Sign in again (with your password, Google or a passkey) and choose Restore account to get everything back, including the paused websites. The cancelled subscription stays cancelled; any paid time left keeps its plan, and you can choose a plan again in Billing. Once a restored website collects again, we fetch the revenue, Search Console and Meta Ads data it missed from those providers; page views from the paused days can't be recovered. We send a reminder 3 days before the end. While your account is waiting to be deleted, nobody can create a new account with your email address.
After 30 days
A scheduled job runs every day and permanently deletes accounts whose 30 days are up. This can't be undone. Our nightly database backups are kept for 14 days, so a deleted account disappears from the last backup at most 14 days after it's deleted from the live database.
03What gets deleted
| What | What happens to it |
|---|---|
| Your profile | Name, email address, avatar, password (stored only as a hash), Google sign-in link, passkeys, two-factor settings and backup codes, and your signed-in sessions are deleted. |
| Websites you own alone | Deleted with everything in them: events and visits, goals, funnels, launches, mentions, AI crawler hits, alerts and report settings, exports, and imported Google Analytics or Plausible history. |
| Revenue data | For those websites: the payment provider connections (with their encrypted API keys and webhook secrets), and every imported payment, refund and subscription. |
| Google and Meta connections | For those websites: the encrypted Google and Facebook tokens, Search Console data, the Google Analytics import and Meta Ads spend are deleted with the website. |
| Websites you share with another owner | Stay with the other owner, including their data. Your membership is removed. |
| Billing account | Your plan, trial and usage records in Trakily are deleted (see below for the minimal record we keep). |
| Emails | Our log of the emails we sent to your address, and any pending sign-in or verification links, are deleted. |

04What we keep, and why
A few records stay after the deletion. None of them contains analytics or data about your website's visitors.
- A minimal billing record of what we charged you: plan, billing interval, amounts, currency, dates, and Dodo Payments' payment, refund, invoice, subscription and customer ids. Your account id is replaced with a one-way hash. Tax and accounting rules require us to keep it; it's deleted automatically after 10 years.
- A deletion log: the same one-way hash, when deletion was requested, restored or completed, how the subscription was handled and how many websites were deleted. It shows we honoured the request and is deleted on the same 10-year schedule.
- Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record, keeps its own invoices and payment records under its own legal obligations.
- Staff action log. If our team ever acted on your account (for example extending a trial), that entry, with the email it was about, stays in our internal audit log.
- Affiliate program. If you're a Trakily affiliate, your affiliate record, commissions and payouts are kept separately from your account for accounting. Email us if you want the affiliate record closed too.
05Delete a single website
Owners can delete one website without touching the rest of the account: open the website, go to Settings → General, choose Delete under Delete website and type the domain to confirm.
There's no grace period for a single website. Its analytics, revenue data, imported history, integrations and their tokens, team access, share link, widgets and API keys are deleted straight away, and it can't be restored.
06Export your data first
- A website's data: Settings → Export on that website downloads stats, raw events, goal completions and payments as CSV files. Owners and members can export.
- Your account: Account settings → Your data → Download my data gives you a ZIP of JSON files with your profile, sign-in methods, websites and roles, invitations, API key names, billing records and email settings.
- Details are in Exporting your data.
07Disconnect Meta Ads or Google
Owners and members can disconnect an integration in the website's Settings → Integrations:
| Integration | How | What disconnecting deletes |
|---|---|---|
| Meta Ads | The Meta Ads tab → Disconnect, then click again to confirm. | We ask Facebook to remove Trakily's permissions, then delete the stored Facebook token, the list of ad accounts and all imported ad spend. |
| Google Search Console | The Search Console tab → Disconnect. | We revoke Trakily's Google token, then delete it and all imported search data. |
| Google Analytics 4 import | The Import tab → Delete imported data keeps the connection; Disconnect removes everything. | Disconnect revokes the Google token, then deletes it and the imported history. |

- Disconnect revokes the Google token, then deletes it and the imported history.
Your Trakily analytics and revenue data aren't affected. You can reconnect later, and the history is imported again. Google revokes Trakily's access for that Google login as a whole, so other Search Console or Analytics connections made with the same Google account will ask you to reconnect.
08Remove Trakily from your Facebook account
You can also cut Trakily off from the Facebook side, whether or not you still have a Trakily account:
- On Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings.
- Find Apps and websites (under Your activity, or search settings for it).
- Select Trakily and choose Remove.
Trakily then can't read your ad accounts any more, and the Meta Ads connection in Trakily asks you to reconnect. If you also ask Facebook to send us a data deletion request, we delete every Meta Ads connection you made with that Facebook login, on every Trakily website: the stored token, the ad account list and the imported spend. Facebook shows you a confirmation code and a link to a page where you can check the request's status at any time.
09Remove Trakily from your Google account
- Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions (Google Account → Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services).
- Select Trakily and remove its access.
This revokes every Google permission you gave Trakily, so Search Console syncing and any Google Analytics import stop and ask you to reconnect. Data already imported stays in Trakily until you disconnect it there or delete the website. If you sign in to Trakily with Google, that still works; Google simply asks for your permission again next time.
10Ask us by email
If you can't sign in, or would rather we did it, email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data". So that nobody else can delete your account:
- Write from the email address on your Trakily account. We reply to that address to confirm.
- Tell us which websites (domains) are in the account, so we know what will be deleted.
- If you no longer have that mailbox, tell us the domains and roughly when you signed up. We may ask you to prove you control one of the websites, for example by adding a DNS record or a file we give you.
- For a Meta or Google connection only, tell us the website it's on.
Once we've verified the request, we act on it within 30 days and email you when it's done. An account deletion follows the same steps as above: you get the email with the deletion date and can still restore it within 30 days. For other privacy requests, see the Privacy Policy.
