Exporting your data

Download a website's stats, raw events, goals and payments as CSV, and your account data as JSON.

Your data is yours. You can download a website's stats and raw data as CSV files at any time, and a copy of everything we keep about your account as JSON. Both come as a ZIP file.

Export a website's data

  1. 1

Open the website, then Settings → Export. Owners and members can export; viewers can't.

  2. 2

Pick the dates (a preset or your own) and what to include: Stats, Raw events, Goal completions and Payments.

  3. 3

Click Export. Most exports download straight away. Big ones are prepared in the background and emailed to you (see below).

Dates are calendar days in the website's timezone, start and end included. An export covers the history your plan shows on the dashboard (1, 3 or 5 years, see Billing and limits); dates before that are left out and the export says so.

A README.txt in the ZIP lists the dates, timezone and currency the files use.

How the numbers line up

  • The stats files come from the same queries as the dashboard and the API, so they match them for the same dates: same timezone, currency conversion, excluded countries and imported GA4 or Plausible history.
  • Breakdowns include every row, not just the top ones the dashboard cards show.
  • Pageviews count the events Trakily collected. Imported days add visitors but not pageviews.
  • Countries you hide in Settings → Exclusions are left out of every file, as they are on the dashboard.
  • Revenue in the stats files is in the website's currency. payments.csv keeps each payment's own currency.

File format

  • CSV with a header row, commas, UTF-8 and Windows line endings, so Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers and every data tool open it as-is.
  • Times are ISO 8601 in UTC (2026-10-08T14:03:00.000Z); daily rows use the website's calendar date.
  • Event and goal properties are JSON in one column.
  • Text that starts with =, +, - or @ gets a leading ', so a page path a visitor made up can't run as a spreadsheet formula.
  • There are no IP addresses anywhere: Trakily never stores them.

Large exports

When an export has more than 100,000 raw rows (events, goal completions and payments together), or daily stats for more than 400 days, we build it in the background instead of making you wait. You'll get an email with a download link when it's ready, usually within a few minutes, and it also appears under Recent exports.

Download links expire

The link works for 7 days and needs no sign-in, so don't forward it. After that the file is deleted; start a new export if you need it again. You can prepare one big export per website at a time.

Download your account data

In Account → Your data, click Download my data for a ZIP of JSON files with your profile, sign-in methods and signed-in devices, the websites you can open and your role on each, invitations you sent, API key names (never the keys), your Trakily plan and billing records, and your email report and alert settings.

Passwords, sign-in tokens, API key secrets and two-factor secrets are never included. We only keep hashed or encrypted versions, and they're no use outside Trakily. To ask for anything else we hold about you, write to us from the contact page.

Leaving Trakily? Export first, then follow the data deletion instructions to delete a website, an integration or your whole account.

Pulling data automatically

With the REST API, GET /export returns the same ZIP for any dates (up to 100,000 raw rows per request, so pull big histories a month at a time), and /stats/timeseries, /stats/breakdown and /goals return the stats as JSON. The API is included in the Scale plan and the free trial; exporting from Settings works on every plan.

Good to know: exports never count toward your monthly event allowance.
