Prices are in USD. Yearly billing costs 10 months, so two months are free. Plan changes are prorated. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record; manage your plan and invoices in Account → Billing.

Free trial

Every account starts with a 14-day trial with Growth limits and no card required. The REST API is included during the trial too (after it, the API needs Scale). You get a reminder email 3 days before it ends. If you subscribe during the trial, you keep the remaining trial days and the first charge happens when the trial ends.

If the trial ends without a plan, dashboards lock right away, but your websites keep collecting for 15 more days, so picking a plan in that time leaves no gap. After that, collection pauses (see When collection pauses). Nothing is deleted: pick a plan at any time and everything, including the data collected during the trial, is back.

Data retention and history

Trakily stores up to 10 years of analytics data for every account: events, sessions and history imported from Google Analytics or Plausible. Data older than 10 years is deleted automatically.

How far back you can look depends on your plan: Starter shows 1 year, Growth shows 3 years and Scale shows 5 years. The free trial follows Growth. The limit applies everywhere you read data: the dashboard, shared dashboards, the API, widgets and email reports. Longer ranges start at the oldest day your plan shows, All time included, and the dashboard says when a range was shortened.

Older data isn't deleted when it falls outside your plan's window, so upgrading shows it again right away. Imported history counts toward the same window. Subscription metrics such as MRR, active subscribers and LTV are always computed from your full payment history; revenue charts and totals follow the window like visitors do.

Without a feature, its card shows an upgrade prompt and Trakily refuses the action (for example an invite). After a downgrade nothing is removed: people already on a website keep their access but you can't invite more, and journeys, funnels and AI traffic come back with their history as soon as you upgrade again.

What counts as an event

Every stored event counts: pageviews, page leaves (time on page), goals and custom events, outbound link clicks, identify calls and payment events from success pages. Excluded traffic and bots are dropped before they are stored, so they don't count. Payments imported from your payment provider and crawler hits from bot tracking don't count either.

Usage is added up across every website you own, in monthly windows that start on your trial or billing date (yearly plans also count monthly). Account → Billing shows the current count and when it resets.

Going over your allowance

Usage
80%
What happens
A warning banner and an email.
Usage
100%
What happens
An “over the limit” banner and email. Tracking continues.
Usage
120%
What happens
Tracking continues for 15 more days from the first time you reach 120% this window; the banner and an email give the pause date. Then collection pauses until the window resets or you upgrade. A new window starts the count again. Your existing data stays.

Website limit

Adding a website beyond your plan's limit is refused with a prompt to upgrade. Websites you already have keep tracking.

Failed payments and cancelling

  • Renewal failed: tracking continues for 15 days from the first failed payment, then collection pauses until payment goes through. If the subscription goes on hold, the dashboard also locks after 7 days.
  • Cancelled: everything keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. Then dashboards lock and collection continues for 15 days before it pauses.
  • Trial or plan ended: dashboards lock right away; collection pauses 15 days later. Your data is kept (up to the 10-year storage limit), so you can pick a plan and carry on.

When collection pauses

Reason
Trial ended without a plan, or a cancelled plan reached the end of its period
Collection pauses
15 days after it ended (dashboards lock right away)
Reason
Payment failed (past due or on hold)
Collection pauses
15 days after the first failed payment
Reason
Usage over 120% of your monthly events
Collection pauses
15 days after you first passed 120% this window, unless the window resets first
Reason
Account deleted (websites only you own)
Collection pauses
Immediately
Reason
Pause tracking (website settings)
Collection pauses
Immediately

The billing banner, Account → Billing and the emails show the exact date collection will pause. Pick a plan, fix the payment or upgrade before then and there's no gap.

While paused, nothing new is stored for the website: pageviews and events from the script, events sent through the API (they get 403 collection_paused), bot hits, revenue from payment providers (webhooks are answered with 200 so providers don't retry, but nothing is stored), Search Console and Meta Ads syncs, and mention discovery. GA4 and Plausible history imports keep running unless the website is suspended or the account is locked past its grace period. Your existing data, exports and (unless the account is locked) dashboards keep working.

When collection resumes (a plan is picked, the payment goes through, the usage window resets, or you resume tracking), Trakily fetches the gap from each provider's own history: all missed payments, refunds and subscription changes from your payment providers, Search Console data (Google keeps 16 months) and Meta Ads spend (Meta keeps 37 months). Pageviews and events from the paused period can't be recovered.

Pause tracking yourself: owners can stop collection for one website in Settings → General → Pause tracking without deleting anything, for example during a migration. The dashboard shows a “Tracking paused” note, and Resume tracking turns it back on and fills the gap as above.

Deleting your account

Delete your account in Account → Delete account. It isn't deleted straight away:

  • Right away: you're signed out everywhere. A paid plan is cancelled at the end of the period you paid for, so you're not charged again. Websites only you own stop collecting, and their share links, widgets and API keys stop working. We email you the deletion date with a restore link.
  • For 30 days: sign in again (email or Google) and choose Restore account to get everything back. The cancelled subscription stays cancelled; any paid time left keeps its plan, and you can pick a plan again in Billing. We send a reminder 3 days before the end.
  • After 30 days: your account, the websites only you own and all their analytics are permanently deleted. Signing up again during the grace period offers the restore screen instead of creating a second account.

Websites you share with another owner stay with them. To keep a website you own alone, make someone else an owner in Settings → Team first.

What we keep after the deletion: a minimal billing record (plan, amounts, currency, dates and the payment provider's invoice, subscription and payment ids) because tax and accounting rules require it, and a log that the deletion happened. Neither contains analytics or visitor data.

Everything that's deleted and kept, and how to ask us by email if you can't sign in: data deletion instructions.
